Terms of Service

Version 2026-08-25 · effective 2026-08-17

The terms for Kennara accounts, educational and AI features, content, subscriptions, school use, and disputes.

These Terms are an agreement between you and Yetsye International LLC, doing business as Kennara (“Kennara,” “we,” or “us”).

Important subscription terms

Eligible trials last five days and require payment details. Unless canceled before the charge date shown at checkout, the subscription starts automatically and renews for the selected interval until canceled. Cancel online from Account billing.

1. Eligibility, age, and authority

You must be at least 13. A student under 18 may use Kennara, accept these Terms, or start a paid plan only with parent or legal-guardian permission and must confirm that permission during the applicable flow. A parent link for reports or parent-funded access is separate.

If acting for a school, district, organization, or another person, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms and provide instructions/information for that party.

2. Accounts and security

Provide accurate information, protect credentials, and update changes. You are responsible for activity until suspected compromise is reported. Do not impersonate, sell/transfer an account, share an individual account outside its plan, or create accounts for repeated trials. Third-party sign-in is also subject to its provider's terms. Kennara may require verification or stronger authentication for sensitive roles.

3. Educational service, AI, and outcomes

Kennara provides study planning, practice, explanations, formative grading, progress estimates, and AI-supported tools. AI output is probabilistic and may be inaccurate. Do not use it as the sole basis for a consequential academic, admissions, financial, health, safety, or legal decision.

Kennara is not an official exam administrator, school, admissions adviser, licensed teacher, mental-health service, or emergency service. Scores, ranges, plans, testimonials, and forecasts are estimates—not promised outcomes. Confirm official requirements, dates, registration, accommodations, and score policies with the exam owner or institution.

4. Your content and AI inputs

You retain rights in answers, essays, notes, prompts, transcripts, feedback, and messages (“Your Content”). You represent you may submit it. You grant Kennara a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, transmit, format, analyze, and process it only as reasonably needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the Service, comply with law, and enforce these Terms. The license ends on deletion except for lawful retention, backup cycles, or de-identified data.

Kennara may not publish a student's identity/content for marketing without separate permission. Do not submit unnecessary personal, health, payment, confidential school, restricted-exam, or third-party private information to AI. Lawful AI output may be used for personal study, but may not be unique.

5. Kennara content and intellectual property

Kennara's software, design, question bank, explanations, graphics, character, marks, and materials belong to Kennara or licensors. You receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license for lawful study, teaching, or family support while entitled. Feedback may be used without payment, but we will not publicly identify you without permission. Report infringement details to [email protected].

6. Payment methods and authorization

Stripe processes paid access and may offer card, Link, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or eligible bank methods. Kennara does not receive/store the full payment number. Before checkout, the payer authorizes the displayed amount due, first charge date, interval, recurring charges, and taxes and represents authority to use the method.

Back to Terms menu ↑

7. Free Trial

Eligible new consumer customers may receive five days free with $0 due at trial start and a required payment method. Unless canceled before the displayed charge date, paid access starts automatically and Stripe charges the shown price. Kennara may limit one trial per person, student, payer, or household and withhold/revoke it for prior use, repeated accounts, disposable email, fraud, or misuse. If no trial applies, checkout shows the immediate charge.

Back to Terms menu ↑

8. Subscription Terms

Consumer plans may be monthly, quarterly, or annual. The selected plan, covered users/exams, features, limits, interval, price, amount due, and next charge date at checkout form part of these Terms and control over general promotional copy. Access exists only while previewing, trialing, active, or in a disclosed grace period. See Pricing.

Back to Terms menu ↑

9. Automatic Renewal

Subscriptions renew for the same interval until canceled. You authorize Stripe to charge the then-current price and taxes. Kennara provides renewal reminders and advance price-change notice where required. Failed payments may be retried; access may continue briefly, then be limited or suspended.

Back to Terms menu ↑

10. Subscription Cancellation

Cancel anytime from Account billing. Cancellation stops future renewals; unless the offer/law says otherwise, access continues through the paid period. Cancel an eligible trial before its charge date to avoid the charge. Deleting the app, closing a browser, removing payment details, or stopping use does not cancel. If online billing is inaccessible, email [email protected] before renewal from the account address.

Back to Terms menu ↑

11. School and District Purchasing

Organization licenses do not include the consumer trial. The authorized buyer is responsible for accurate seats, billing, tax, start date, and purchase-order details. Quotes do not provision seats; access begins after verified payment or an approved executed contract. Tax exemption may require proof. A signed agreement, accepted order, quote, or invoice controls where expressly different.

Organizations control staff roles, classes, seats, and renewal and are responsible for lawful notices/permissions and user conduct. Access may end at organization direction, seat expiration, or under the governing agreement.

12. Score Improvement Guarantee

Kennara offers a written score-improvement guarantee on the exams listed below. Outside that offer, no Kennara plan, result, forecast, testimonial, or statement promises a score increase, exam result, admission, scholarship, credential, or outcome.

Covered exams and required improvement. Measured on official score reports issued by the test maker, in that exam’s own points:

  • SAT (400–1600) — an increase of at least 100 points.
  • PSAT (320–1520) — an increase of at least 100 points.
  • ACT (1–36) — an increase of at least 2 points.
  • CLT (0–120) — an increase of at least 8 points.
  • GED (100–200 per subject) — an increase of at least 15 points on a subject test.

Eligibility. A paid plan covering the exam claimed; a free trial alone does not qualify. You must have taken the exam officially both before and after studying with Kennara, with at least 21 days between the two sittings, and answered at least 500 practice questions on the paid plan.

Evidence. Official score reports from the test maker for both sittings, submitted through the claim form. Self-reported or edited scores are not accepted.

Deadline. Claims must be filed within 60 days of the issue date of the later official score report.

Exclusions. Exams not listed above — including Advanced Placement, whose 1–5 scale cannot express a fair threshold; accounts already refunded or subject to a chargeback; and any account that has already claimed. The guarantee may be claimed once per account.

Remedy. A refund of the subscription fees you paid for the plan period covering your study. The refund is the entire remedy; it does not extend to other losses.

13. "No Refund" Policy

The Score Improvement Guarantee in section 12 is such a written offer, and a claim allowed under it is refunded on its terms. Otherwise, except where law requires, completed charges are non-refundable; cancellation prevents future renewal but creates no prorated credit. If a charge is unauthorized, duplicated, or incorrect, contact [email protected]. Non-waivable refund, cancellation, cooling-off, and dispute rights remain intact.

14. Acceptable use

Do not cheat on or reconstruct a live/restricted exam; scrape, republish, resell, or build a competing dataset/product from Kennara content; bypass trials, paywalls, limits, or controls; probe, disrupt, overload, introduce malware, or access without authority; use unapproved automation or reverse engineering except where law permits; harass, exploit, impersonate, or violate rights; submit unlawful, exploitative, infringing, deceptive, or privacy-invasive content; or train a competing model/product without written permission.

Back to Terms menu ↑

15. Communications and third-party services

Kennara may send verification, security, consent, billing, account, plan, reminder, and support messages. Adult marketing requires opt-in and permits unsubscribe. Google, Apple, Stripe, YouTube, and other linked services have separate terms and may change or fail; Kennara does not control them and a link is not endorsement.

Back to Terms menu ↑

16. Suspension, termination, and service changes

You may stop use but must cancel billing separately. Kennara may suspend/terminate for material/repeated breach, nonpayment, fraud, security risk, legal requirement, harm, or discontinuation, with notice and support opportunity where practical and safe. Features, exams, plans, and integrations may change. If Kennara ends prepaid consumer access without cause early, it will provide any legally required remedy and may give a prorated credit/refund.

Back to Terms menu ↑

17. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent allowed by law, the Service is “as is” and “as available.” Kennara disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness, title, non-infringement, accuracy, uninterrupted availability, security, and those arising from dealing or trade.

We do not warrant error-free operation, preservation of every item, or an educational result. Non-waivable consumer rights remain intact.

Back to Terms menu ↑

18. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Kennara and its owners, personnel, contractors, licensors, and providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or lost profit, data, goodwill, opportunity, admission, or academic result.

Aggregate liability will not exceed the greater of $100 or amounts paid to Kennara in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

These limits exclude liability that law does not permit us to limit.

Back to Terms menu ↑

19. Indemnity for adult and organization users

If you are an adult using Kennara for business or institutional purposes, or an organization, you will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Kennara and its owners, personnel, contractors, and licensors from third-party claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use, Your Content, breach of these Terms, or violation of another person's rights. This does not apply to a minor user or require indemnity for Kennara's own unlawful conduct. Kennara may control the defense and will not settle a claim that imposes a non-monetary obligation on you without consent.

Back to Terms menu ↑

20. Disputes and governing law

Email [email protected] with the claim and requested resolution; the parties will try in good faith for 30 days, without preventing urgent relief or small claims. Georgia and applicable U.S. federal law govern, without conflict rules. Unless mandatory consumer law permits another forum, courts serving Gwinnett County, Georgia have jurisdiction.

These Terms do not require arbitration or waive participation in a class proceeding. Mandatory rights where you live remain unaffected.

21. Privacy and related policies

  • Privacy Policy
  • Children's Privacy Notice
  • Cookie & Tracking Notice
  • Trademark Disclaimer
  • Accessibility

A signed school agreement or feature-specific written term controls for its subject where expressly different.

Back to Terms menu ↑

22. Changes

The version/effective date identify the Terms. Material changes receive reasonable advance notice where required and renewed acceptance where law requires it. Changes apply prospectively unless disclosed otherwise and do not retroactively alter an authorized charge.

Back to Terms menu ↑

23. General terms

These Terms, incorporated policies, checkout disclosures, and applicable written orders/agreements are the entire agreement. Unenforceable provisions are narrowed or severed; the rest remains. Non-enforcement is not waiver. You may not assign without consent; Kennara may assign with a financing, reorganization, merger, acquisition, or sale, subject to law.

“Including” is non-exclusive. Electronic records/signatures satisfy writing requirements where lawful. Events beyond reasonable control excuse delay except incurred payment obligations. No agency, partnership, employment, fiduciary, joint venture, or unstated third-party beneficiary is created. Ownership, payments, disclaimers, liability, disputes, and provisions that by nature survive will survive termination.
